COSTHA 2015 Conference Highlights
On the heels of AQT Solutions’ new Regulatory Compliance ATMS product release in late March, we returned from our first ever COSTHA (Council on Safe Transport of Hazardous Articles) annual forum with enthusiasm as we were able to meet and connect with the foremost experts and regulators in the hazardous materials industry. AQT Solutions was excited to become a platinum sponsor as we view participation in regulatory topics/rulemaking, connecting with other members and COSTHA’s representation as an invaluable part of this highly regulated industry.
As the new kids on the block, we could not have been more impressed with the welcoming and professional leaders gathered at the conference. Being first time exhibitors we were able to meet and talk to a diverse group of organizations. We were thrilled to introduce them to a product capable of managing all aspects of training management, while learning about specific needs of each company and viewing the latest and greatest in HM/DG products, services and publication-specific information.
The dangerous goods training courses offered were timely and included topics on the ever evolving lithium battery harmonization and rules surrounding HM-224F and transport of excepted packages of radioactive material by air and highway. Life Sciences and GHS roundtables, to name a few, were offered along with regulatory briefings from federal regulators from US DOT PHMSA, FAA and Transport Canada.
We want to thank all those at the COSTHA 2015 conference for organizing such a valuable conference where we could meet and interact with top professionals. The 2015 theme for this year’s forum was the “Value of Compliance” and as a company striving to provide an integrated compliance solution, we left feeling this was a great group of peers to surround ourselves with. We look forward to COSTHA 2016 and being a part of this community for many years to come.
